THE NUUG.NO WE DO NOT RUN A BUG BOUNTY PROGRAM BOGUS BUG REPORTS DIRECTORY

The Norwegian Unix User Group is a volunteer run organization run by and for users and enthusiasts of Unix and Unixlike free operating systems, including the numerous applications that run on such systems.

The operating staff, again a group of volunteers, are regularly pestered by self described "security analysts" who waste our time reporting bogus or irrelevant "bug reports", "vulnerability reports" or similar, apparently in the mistaken belief that we run a "bug bounty program" or are at least a bit interested in starting one.

Speaking for the whole group, I can say with some certainty that we are not interested in any such thing.

If you detect an actual issue that impacts the security of our services, which by the way are *intended* to be accessible to the public, we welcome your input.
