LIBFEM (liberty & feminism): The mailing list for Liberty and Feminism; individualist feminists - feminism based on an individual rights approach to feminist issues, supporting liberty, diversity and social cooperation.
The focus of LIBFEM is the classical liberty and individual rights perspective as applied to feminist issues, such as issues regarding ideology, politics, culture, gender, etc., in order to establish a network for information, discourse, cooperation and encouragement. As I understand the term individualist feminism, it is wider than, say, libertarian feminism, since libertarian feminists cannot claim a monopoly on being individualist. Hence, any kind of feminist who is also an individualist (whether libertarian or no) is welcome here. It seems to me that those who call themselves libertarians often are most concerned about economic freedom, while traditional feminists are often more concerned about cultural freedom, but this forum is concerned about and wants to promote freedom all-over.
